The all-MCC Mothers' Day joint service and picnic is a 30-plus year tradition, bringing the three Japanese services together with the English Department and our partner congregation Tokyo Multicultural Church (TMC) in beautiful Nogawa Park. Please join us on Sunday, May 8 for our 10:30 am worship, followed by lunch and recreation.
You can get there by:
• train – about a 15 minute walk from Shin–Koganei station on the Seibu Tamagawa line.
• bus – Nimaibashi bus stop. Buses are from Mitaka station (south side), Musashi-Koganei station (south side),
and Chofu station (north side)
• bicycle
• car – pay parking lot at the south end of the park. There is no legal street parking near the park.

What to bring:
Lunch: It is recommended to bring lunch from home, or to buy it on the way to the park. There are vending machines for drinks in the park area but there are no convenience stores in or near the park itself. For those using Shin–Koganei station there is a Family Mart not far from the station as you walk toward the park.
Ground sheet: There are no seats or benches, so you also may wish to bring a lawn chair if you prefer not to sit on the ground.
Sports equipment such as balls, frisbees, etc.
